Tuffree is known, in part, by our two prestigious jazz bands. They are an auditioned group that meets during zero periods.

Instrumentation for this band is based on a standard "Big Band" ensemble consisting of: trumpets, saxophones , trombones, and a rhythm section (guitar, bass, drums, and piano).

Jazz auditions are twice a year: The first week of school and the week before winter break. Details can be found here!
